Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Talking to Iran News Agency on Wednesday they called upon upon the Muslim Ummah to unite against the Western hegemony in the world.
Muzzafar Naqvi, a senior journalist, expressing his views said that every country has the right to acquire nuclear technology without any discrimination and the US has no right to doubt over Iran’s nuclear program.
“If Israel can develop its nuclear program then why can’t Iran develop its nuclear program”, he asked.
The journalist believed that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has advocated the case of his country in an effective manner but it is unfortunate that some countries are not even ready to hear the stance of Iran over nuclear issue.
“Today we are living in a unipolar world and Iran is the only country in the world that has been resisting the hegemony of US”, he noted.
Muzzafar Naqvi demanded of the West to adopt consistent policies towards Iran. He said that the whole Muslim world should stand united against the role of US in world politics. He also said that US has to destroy its nuclear weapons first before making any suggestion over the NPT.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said that regrettably, the government of the United States has not only used nuclear weapons but also continues to threaten to use such weapons against other countries, including Iran.
Javed Sidique resident editor-of daily Nawaiwaqt was of the view that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has rightly pointed out that having nuclear weapons was “disgusting and shameful, and even more shameful is the threat to use, or to use, such weapons.
“US is the only country that has used the nuclear bombs and we cannot forget the destruction that was caused by these nuclear bombs in Hiroshima and Nagasaki”, he added.
The journalist was of the opinion that US posseses the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons. He said that US has to destroy these nuclear weapons if it wants to get the NPT implemented.
Asma Shirazi a journalist when contacted said that US has no right to pressurize Iran over nuclear issue. “Iran has a right to develop its nuclear program”, she added.
“First US has to justify the destruction that it has caused in Iraq, where are those weapons of mass destruction”, she stated.
The journalist maintained that the whole Muslim world has to stand united against the discriminatory polices of US against them.
“I fully endorse the speech of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad”, said Asma Shirazi.
